The sounds of disks, tapes, and files tell of hero’s fears.
As told by a scream, cymbal, and chord,
Strings sing of sorrow, as heads rumble on.
Sweet growl of A slide down,
Nurtured in caring arms, a gentle giant,
Ignored but vital, the bass offers tones,
But whispers as to not offend.
Some envy his ability to disappear,
But know their duty too well.
No moderation here; a gang rolls in.
The kicks and punches of a few called tom fight on.
The crashes and booms of battle sound,
Yet only one attacks: king on his throne.
To keep the time, drums take their abuse.
