Vanitas Selfie - Project Exhibit - Ulises
Title
Vanitas Selfie - Project Exhibit - Ulises
Description
Looking from below
For ages long you have been tread upon,
received our every step with your embrace.
It only means when you’re looked at too long
wounds of the heart that don’t let look ahead.
Despite your faithfulness and all you bear,
to you was not given a ringing voice.
No more than quiet your lips can whisper--
secrets you will forever keep, you hold.
A Turkish Princess after the Moon named,
a smile she wore, you saw it steal a heart.
You could withhold your solid, sweet embrace;
proclaim freedom from absorbing impacts.
Beneath our feet you are not cracking up;
you know without you stand it we cannot.
You could withhold your solid, sweet embrace;
proclaim freedom from absorbing impacts.
Beneath our feet you are not cracking up;
you know without you stand it we cannot.
